How To Fix Canon B200 Error?

In the very first place, try a simple Printer Reboot to fix the Canon Error. When you restart your Canon Printer, it restores its default settings which fixes a number of technical glitches.

  2. Now, disconnect it from the Power Source. In other words, unplug its Power Cable from the Wall Outlet. 
  3. Wait for 20-30 seconds.

Clean Printhead To Fix Canon Printer B200 Error 

The most important procedure to resolve the Canon Printer B200 Error is cleaning its Printhead. 

First Solution 

  1. Begin the Canon Printer B200 Error troubleshooting process by carefully removing the Printhead from this Printer. 
  2. Now, wash it thoroughly for a minimum of 3 times. For this, you must make use of hot water. 
  3. In order to wash it, continuously pour hot water over it for a couple of minutes. 
  4. Next, you must clear off the excess water by shaking it. 
  5. Then, keep it aside until it completely dries off. 
  6. You must wait for at least 12 hours. 
  7. Once again, repeat this process. 
  8. In this way, you can easily remove the Ink traces from the Printhead that causes this B200 Error. 

Second Solution 

  1. Turn On your Printer. 
  2. Open the Printer’s Cover and Paper Feed. As such, its Printhead will go to the left side. 
  3. Now, bring out the Cartridges. 
  4. Next, you should turn off this Printer. Unplug it’s Power Cable from the Wall Outlet. 
  5. Thereafter, remove the Printhead.
  6. Then, wash it thoroughly with hot water just like you did in the first method. Now, remove all traces of water/ ink by carefully shaking it. Leave it aside till it completely dries out. 
  7. Use q-tips to rub alcohol on the Printhead-to-Printer Connectors for properly cleaning it. 
  8. After that, properly insert the Printhead in its correct position without causing any damage. 
  9. In addition to that, carefully install the Cartridges. 
  10. Make sure to slide the Printhead to its extreme left. 
  11. Then, close down the Printer’s Cover. 
  12. Turn on the Printer to fix the B200 Error. For this, you should continuously press its Power button for a minimum of 5 times. 

Third Solution 

  1. Open the Printer Cover. 
  2. Bring out all the Ink Tanks properly. 
  3. You will notice a grey-coloured locking lever on the sides of its Ink Tank Holder. Now, lift up this lever. 
  4. Bring out the Printhead carefully from its Carriage Unit. 
  5. Thereafter, re-insert it properly and lock down its lever. 
  6. Now, gently place the Ink Tanks to its correct position. 
  7. Close down the Printer’s Cover. 
  8. Turn off your Printer. Make sure that you unplug its Power Cable from the Wall Socket. 
  9. Wait for at least 5-10 minutes. 
  10. Restart your Canon Printer to see if the B200 Error has been fixed.

Remove Obstructions To Fix Canon Printer Error 

  1. Disconnect the Printer from its POwer Source. 
  2. Wait for at least 10-15 minutes. 
  3. Remove any Paper Sheet from the Paper Tray.
