How To Scan Document On Canon Printer?

Make sure that the Power Cable is securely plugged in to both the Wall Socket and the Printer. In addition to that, it must be turned on. For this, you must press the Printer’s Power button. As a result, it should light up its Power Lamp in green colour. Make sure it is stable. This is very important for using Canon Scanner.

For this, you should open the top lid of Canon Scanner. Thereafter, carefully place the Document on the glass platen.   11. You can also save the selected Settings for future. For this, simply tap on the “Save Profile” tab.

  13. After that, locate the Colour and Black buttons on the Printer’s Operation Panel. Press the Colour tab for scanning a colour document. Similarly, press the Black tab to get a black and white document. 
  14. In certain cases, your Computer may display a Program Selection window as you press the Colour or Black button. As such, opt for Canon IJ Scan Utility. Then, click on “OK”.
  15. Subsequently, wait for the Canon Scanner to execute your scanning command.

Scan Documents on your Canon Printer by using Canon Scanner

  1. Turn on the Printer.
  2. Properly load the Document on your Canon Device. 
  3. Get back to your Computer. 
  4. Now, click on the Windows Start button. 
  5. Select the Canon Printer App from the Applications section.
  6. Then, click on the “Scan” tab. Alternatively, choose your Canon Device from the given list of Printing Devices. 
  7. On the following window, select appropriate Settings for Canon Scanner. 
  8. Thereafter, click on the “Scan” button. 
  9. When prompted to confirm your choice, select “Scan’ or “Save”. 
  10. Finally, wait for the process to finish.
